
Dr. Gregory Martin

Dr. Gregory Michael Martin, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and pioneer in personalized 3D hip and knee replacement. Born in Huntington, NY, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from The State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine (Alpha Omega Alpha), completed surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Columbia University/NewYork-Presbyterian, and a total joint fellowship at Harvard/Brigham and Women's Hospital.
For over 20 years he has practiced in South Florida, founding Personalized Orthopedics of the Palm Beaches in 2018 and co-founding Delray Beach Surgical Suites. He also serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Miami. Dr. Martin performed the world's first fully customized 3D hip replacement and the first customized total knee in the Southeast U.S. Collaborating with surgeons from Harvard, Mayo, Baylor, and UCSF, he helped develop 3D-planned, patient-specific implants.
He invented FASTREC®, a fast-recovery protocol using muscle-sparing surgery and advanced pain control, enabling most joint replacements to be outpatient. A contributing author to UpToDate, author of "Education4Knees," and prolific researcher, he has earned Castle Connolly Top Doctor (7+ years), Palm Beach Illustrated Top Doctor (8+ years), and multiple Patients' Choice Awards. Dr. Martin also pioneered concierge orthopedics with his Personalized Plus Program and co-founded the Personalized Orthopedic Research Institute to advance non-surgical and surgical joint care.
